My two careers in Transportation, Distribution, and Logistics are Chief executives and Avionics Technicians. A Chief executive determines policies and provide overall direction of companies or private sector organizations. A Chief executive uses logistics to instruct where everything goes. This job is high up in the government. My other career is an Avionics Technician. An avionics technician installs, inspects, tests, adjusts, and repairs avionics equipment (Radars, radios, navigation, and missile control systems). An avionics technician is in charge of figuring out the problem with avionic technology. This cluster contributes to our nation by helping with organizing transportation, helping solve problems, and to instruct. This cluster effects the other clusters because most jobs use some sort of transportation, and this cluster is in charge of that.

My career for Government and Public Administration is a Coroner. My chosen career is a Oncologist. These two careers relate because they both use medical practices. An oncologist helps people with cancer and a coroner helps find out what happened to a dead person. I don't know if I would be able to be a coroner but I could be a oncologist. I understand that they are very closely related, but having hope in a job is a big deal for me and being a coroner doesn't have much hope.

Ag is a very big part of our nation today. Our country depends on it. My two careers for the Ag, Food, and Natural Resources cluster are an Animal Trainer and a Chem tech. An animal trainer only relates to my life because I have two dogs to take care of. An animal trainer relates to my community because a lot of people have animals of their own. My other career is a Chemical tech. A chem tech doesn't really relate to my every day life. My junior year I will be taking chemistry, which I will learn what a chem tech does. A chem tech is not an ideal job you will find in Paris. In bigger cities you will find these jobs.

Students have just finished researching the Architecture and Construction career cluster. I'm curious to know how the two careers they looked at are similar and how they are different. I'm also interested to know if either of those two careers relate in any way to their chosen career. It should be interesting to read their posts! My two careers for Architecture and Construction are Interior Designer and a Glazier. An interior designer plan, design, and furnish interiors of residential, commercial, or industrial buildings. Tools used in this job are scales, scanners, triangles, and tape measures. The education required is a Bachelor's degree. The US wages is $47,600 yearly. My second career is a glazier. A glazier installs glass in windows, skylights, store fronts, and display cases such as building fronts, interior walls, ceilings, and tabletops. Tools used in this career are glass cutters, levels, power sanders, and power saws. Education required for this job is a high school diploma or equivalent. The US waged is $37,610 yearly.

My chosen career from careercrusing.com is oncology. Oncology includes many abilities that are found in Human Services. A career in Human services, such as funeral attendants, work distantly related to oncologists. Both of the jobs require working with people, but funeral attendants work with deceased people. Oncologists specilize in diagnosing and treating cancer patients. Funeral attendants perform variety of tasks during funerals. Both of the jobs require the ability to have a concern for others, to make decisions, speech recongnition, written expression, judgement, and active listening. Oncologist make more money, but you have to go to school for more years. I could probably work in Human Services because I like to work with and around people. Getting information on Human Services doesn't make me want to change my chosen career. I like what I have chosen, but I will probably change. For a while I wanted to be a cosmetologist, which is in Human Services. After recent debate, I have realized that I will be better in the medical field because I like making people feel better.

It is important to understand other peoples personalities because you want to surround yourself with people who have a similar personality than you. If you are a blue, you don't surround yourself with orange, gold, or green. Most of the time you surround yourself with people of the same personality than you. If you are hiring someone for a job, you want someone who is gold, not orange. Orange people don't choose to stay on task, but gold people are always on task.
